Tropic Thunder (2008)
I read this movie was a pleasant surprise for many. For me, the first part was plain disgusting with several WTF moments. The middle part was funny and there were some unexpected twists, and then the end was… okay, I guess. I don’t think it was a waste of time but I wasn’t that much entertained. For me, Just Go With It was funnier last week (I know, I have a strange taste in films). My hubby laughed more than I did, but didn’t really like the movie either. I liked Robert Downey Jr’s character best, and Tom Cruise was a fun surprise, too. It was great to finally see the origin of the “never go full retard” meme.
Hubby says: “It was stupid like all Adam Sandler films.” Me: “Ben Stiller.” Hubby: “Yeah, that one, whatever.”

Trópusi vihar (2008)
Na végre, egy jó magyar cím :D Olvastam mások értékeléseit, miszerint kellemes meglepetés volt a film, úgyhogy belevágtunk. Közös filmnézés Férjjel. Az eleje szimplán gusztustalan volt, egy rakat WTF pillanattal fűszerezve. Aztán jött a többnyire vicces rész, váratlan fordulatokkal. A vége meg… mondjuk, elment. Nem volt időpocsékolás megnézni, de azért nem szórakoztam olyan jól. Nekem a múlt heti Kellékfeleség pl viccesebb volt (tudom, fura az ízlésem). Férj többet nevetett, de neki sem jött be igazán. Nekem Robert Downey Jr figurája tetszett a legjobban, rajta röhögtem a legtöbbet, de Tom Cruise is jópofa meglepetés volt. És olyan jó volt végre látni a “sose nyomjá’ full kretént” mém eredetét!
Férj ítélete: “Primitív volt, mint minden Adam Sandler film.” Én: “Ben Stiller.” Férj: “Ja, mindegy, ugyanaz.”
